Problems that People Concerned between Asian and Western in Fashion Industry

Problems in fashion industry appear in different aspects such as racial, hair style, eye colour and weight. People always select clothes based on their skin and eyes' colours, financial status, makeup and hair style. I am going to talk about the main problem in terms of racial diversity in fashion industry.  According to Asian and Western fashion, let us talk about the specific issues that people concerned today.

As a Chinese, I have a lot of advises and experience that want to share with all of you. Let us first talk about Chinese's characteristics like eye and hair colours, height and weight, makeup and habits.
Eye and hair colours: brown eyes and black or brownish hair
Height and weight: the average height for male: 169.4 cm (5' 6.7")
                               the average height for female:158.6 cm (5' 2.5")

Makeup and habits: as Chinese have different colour and style eyes, the skills will be varies during makeup. People in Western areas have bigger eyes while eyelash are more long, curly and thick than Asian areas. Thus the same makeup materials may show various appearance among people.

The above video shows the Chinese wearing style obviously. From my own experience, I would like to buy Korean and Japanese style clothes because all Asian people have almost the same face, hair and figure. Also, Chinese love clothes that focus on colours and styles. We also like to matching outfits towards cute, pretty and fashionable.

The video shows the four outfits for ZARA, and can be the example of western fashion. People in western are not more focus on figure and colours as Chinese. They always dressing up as casual and fashion clothes. On the other hand, their makeup is different from Chinese because they are using dark colours' lipsticks, density eyelash and dark eyeshadow. Although they wearing simple styles clothes, but they still look beautiful.

Many problems exist during shopping. The differences between Asian and Western fashion are mentioned above, so it also reveals the characteristics of two different areas' people with different culture. The most important issue reflect Chinese wearing style towards Korean and Japanese's clothing trends. Cute and slim clothes are Chinese's favourite styles. On the contrary, people in western are more fashionable and casual.
